Long ago I was given a web domain as a Christmas present. It included him buying any domain name I wanted and hosting whatever content I wanted for 2 years.
After 4 weeks I still hadn't given him my choosen domain name. He was getting impatient (why wouldn't I jump at the chance to get my own website?) and pressed me for the name. That is where "Emeraldcactus" comes from.
Emerald is my birth stone and Cactus partly because I had just come home from Christmas in Arizona and partly because it is my nickname for myself. Again, I couldn't come up with anything better for my Blog, so EmeraldcCactus it is!
