I dragged Lindsay down to my old ward's cul-de-sac of fire on Saturday night. It is quite the block party. There are 2 invitations. Just the neighbors on the cul-de-sac are invited at 7:30 for dinner. I get included in that group. Then the rest of their ward is invited to come at dusk for the fireworks.

The neighbor Steve Powell started giving us guest appearances a couple years ago. He was John Cougar Mellencamp 2 years ago and Neil Diamond last year. This year he was Elivs Presly and did the evolution of dance. Lots of time and effort by Steve for our entertainment. Here is the clip:

I didn't feel one bit dragged. I was excited to go and it was fantabulous! I'm hoping to score another invite for next year, it was that much fun!
